The first time you record an audio component in ving, you will have to adjust the settings for Adobe Flash Player to allow ving access to your microphone. (These settings are saved in your browser.)
Make sure to select allow and remember at the bottom of the Adobe Flash Player Settings window; doing so will give permission for the (app.vingapp.com) website to use your microphone to record audio in Ving.
Click the dropdown menu under choose microphone to select the correct microphone you wish to use.
You’re ready to record! Back in the ving record audio window, click the record button when you’re ready to start. When you are finished recording, click stop to finish recording.
*Note: Anytime your browser history is cleared or reset, these permissions will also reset and you will have to complete this setup again.
