How To: Manage my Contacts

In order to track how engaged your contacts are — you need contacts! We do most of the managing for you.

If you are managing your Ving contact book manually:

  • Ving merges contacts that share the same email, so you don't have to worry about duplicates.
  • Once you send someone a Ving, their email is added to your Ving contact book.
  • Import contacts using a .csv file with 4 columns: first name, last name, email address, group name.

You can also manage your Ving contact book by linking a Google Account. If you have contacts in your Google Address book, they will sync automatically with your Ving contact book.

How To: Link Your Google Account

Once you link your Google account, Google Contacts will sync every 15 minutes, while logged into Ving. Any changes you make to your Google address book will reflect in your Ving contact book.

Most contact books allow for duplicates and force you to track and update your own contacts. We hate the hassle, so we made sure our tool did it for you. Want to read more about moving and merging contacts in Ving? Check out How To: Move and Merge Contacts.
