Have you ever noticed that you have views but no opens? There are a few reasons this would occur.
Opens are tracked from ving invitations so if someone viewed your Ving from a short URL or from their Ving Inbox you would have a view and no opens.
The other reason would be if someone has images disabled in their email client. A common practice for tracking opens is to include a micro transparent (1px) image in an email. If that image is opened then an open will be tracked.
There is one flaw that all email senders (SendGrid, MailChimp, etc) face with this method if someone has disabled their images they will be able to click through to your ving and view it but an open will never be tracked.
Good news, they saw your ving and that is what matters most.
